The book's foreword has been authored by Adam Bosworth, Chief Architect and Senior Vice President of Engineering at BEA. He spent a life in "making people change the way they think about software development". His impressive record of achievements includes innumerable breakthough products and technologies, like Microsoft Access, ODBC, Sql Server, DAO, VB, OLE Controls, Form Designers, Quattro, Internet Explorer HTML engine, Active Server Pages, XML query languages and tools, Web Services, and BEA Web Logic Workshop.
In his foreword, Adam expresses the reasons why he considers conceptual modelling with WebML a major innovation in the way Web applications are conceived and built.
