Acer Advantage is the Web application in charge of managing the guarantee extensions for a variety of Acer products.
The application consists of multiple Web sites cooperating to support every aspects of the guarantee extension workflow, from the B2C site for customer registration to the B2E application helping Acer call-center personnel perform the actual activation of an extended warranty.

Highly sophisticated functions have been modeled at the conceptual level and implemented automatically, using the WebRatio code generators.

The most relevant functions of this application are:

  • The creation and management of batches of guarantee codes
  • The generation and printing in PDF format of the user's contract
  • The scheduling of the back-office activities at the call centers
