As highlighted in the figure below, the schema is centered upon three core objects: Match, Team, and Player. 
The entity Team also shows a core subschema, including the sub-entity Sponsor; this in fact can be considered as a multi-value property of Team.

Over the entity Match an access sub-schema is defined: it is composed of the entities Sport, Category and Championship that represents different levels of categories.

The schema also includes two interconnections sub-schema: 

• One consists of the entity Membership and the two relationships that interconnect Team and Player
• An other one consists of the entity Score and the two relationships interconnects Match and Player

Finally, the personalizzation subschema consists of the pre-defined entities User, Group e Siteview, and of the relationships Preference and Support, that associate users respectively with their preferred Sports and their supported Teams.
